Compile your own bundle

Clone the repository and produce a native bundle for your own platform.

npm ci
npm run tauri build

System requirements

What you need

  • A desktop machine running macOS, Linux or Windows.
  • The coding-agent CLIs you want to run — claude, codex, opencode and others — installed and signed in on your system. Ubra runs them, it does not replace them.
  • To build from source: Node.js with npm, plus the Rust toolchain and the Tauri v2 prerequisites for your platform.
  • Ubra itself is built with Tauri v2 (Rust), Svelte 5, xterm.js.
