Agent badges for coding agents

Agent badges are Ubra's at-a-glance status markers. Every terminal pane running a coding-agent CLI such as claude, codex or opencode shows a badge with that agent's current state, so you can scan a whole window of agents and spot the one that needs your attention without clicking through each terminal.

What does an agent badge show?

An agent badge shows the current state of the coding agent running inside a pane. Instead of reading scrollback in every terminal, you read one small marker per pane. The badge sits alongside the pane and tab, so state is visible across workspaces and tabs at the same time.

Why badges beat separate terminal windows

With agents spread across separate terminal windows you have to switch to each one to learn whether it is working, waiting or done. Ubra keeps every agent in one window and surfaces its state as a badge, which turns checking on agents into a glance rather than a hunt.

  • One window for every agent session
  • State visible without focusing the pane
  • Works with the real agent CLIs you already use

How to start using agent badges

Badges work automatically once an agent CLI runs in a pane. There is nothing to configure: open a workspace, start an agent and the badge appears.

  1. Download Ubra for macOS, Linux or Windows.
  2. Create a workspace and open a tab.
  3. Run claude, codex or opencode in a terminal pane.
  4. Watch the badge on that pane as the agent works.

Frequently asked questions

Is the badge feature free?

Yes. Ubra is MIT open source and free, including every feature.
